Obscenly quick tips for before you start university - have a read or you'll end up experience the same thing the Munkee Team have.
- Get a map of the area you are moving to and explore, so you know where you are going and where you are – Getting lost at night during freshers can be a pain and can end in a 3 hour walk that should take 30 minutes.
- Get passport photos taken, you WILL need them for your student card, NUS card and two that the university steal off you for no real reason.
- When you know where you are going to move to make sure you tell friends and people/companies that send you mail know your new address, or organise mail forwarding.
- Bring the essentials that others will forget: matches, bottle openers and tin openers, it could make you the most popular person in your house!
- Get your student account sorted as fast as you can, student loans while they come relativly quickly it can take up to 4 days after your friends receive theirs to arrive and you could need that overdraft sooner than you think.
