Student Banking PDF Print E-mail
So it's come to having an overdraft and we in our hearts we want a freebie but in our heads we know the overdraft and rates are the most important, here we will find the best bank for the students.

Of course before you read this article and decide on your bank of choice for your student years investigate which bank has the most branches in the area of your university and what bank has cash machines on your campus, although most banks agree not to charge for withdrawals anymore it's always best to check. Another point to check and personally my favorite: are they open on Saturday in your area? The amount of times you will need a bank on a Saturday for early morning Monday rent and sorting out funds for an upcoming pub crawl are surprisingly large.

Those are four of the best main student bank accounts on offer, it's all dependent on how much money you will need to borrow (the less the better!) or what you want extra from your bank. RBS offer good deals on getting into clubs and the highest of the overdraft amounts available, whereas HSBC can offer commission free exchange rates which is great if you plan to travel during your university years.

Remember to always check with the bank about these offers as they can change, and always make sure you check the fine print.
